MAFS Australia bride Davina Rankin has split from her husband after one year of marriage

Married at First Sight Australia bride Davina Rankin has split up with her husband, Jaxon Manuel, just one year after they tied the knot.

Rumours began to spread about the pair’s relationship breaking down after Davina unfollowed Jaxon on Instagram. Jaxon and Davina has been married since April 2022 and they have a three-year-old daughter together.

Davina has since confirmed she is no longer with Jaxon. “Relationships are hard,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “Given the recent speculation, I feel like I need to confirm that Jax and I have separated.”

“I will at some point discuss this further, but my current focus is learning to navigate my new normal while providing a seamless and loving transition into co-parenting for our daughter.”

Davin and Jaxon started dating after her appearance on MAFS Australia in 2018 and a year later they welcomed their first child. In 2021 they got in engaged and they officially tied the knot in April 2022.

They got married on the New South Wales border at Fins Plantation House on the Tweed Coast, but months later fans began to notice Davina was posting her former husband less and less.

At the end of last year, she wrote in an Instagram post: “2022 has been the biggest year of spiritual and mental growth for me and for the first time in my life I can finally hear the whispers of my heart.”

Despite this, she did confirm at the beginning of this year that they were still together. She told So Dramatic: “We are definitely still married. Although I should probably post more photos of him.”

Davina was granted the villain status during her season of MAFS Australia after she cheated on her partner Ryan Gallagher with her co-star Dean Wells. After appearing on MAFS Australia, Davina went into the jungle and competed on I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here.
