Just 10 moments that prove this season of MAFS Australia was the messiest ever

This season of Married at First Sight Australia will be something for the history books. Sure, there has been drama on previous seasons but I don’t think only me thinks none have been as dramatic than season 10. There have been more scandals than anyone cares to think about and accusations thrown around like nobody’s watching.

So as the series comes to an end in the UK, it’s time to reminisce on all the insane drama that has taken please on MAFS Australia season 10.

1. Harrison being caught out for speaking to someone else on his wedding day

Harrison and Bronte’s wedding was one of the first viewers saw this season and honestly, these producers work HARD. It all happens so quickly from a sweet toast to Bronte finding out Harrison had been with someone just days before he had his wedding. He somehow managed to sweet talk his way out of it but loyal viewers never forget!

The drama continued into the experiment as the other brides and grooms found out and not a soul was buying what Harrison had to say. Apparently the woman he was talking to still wants to give her peace on the matter so it’s only a matter of time before we hear more!

2. Shannon leaving Caitlin because he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend

Shannon and Caitlin seemed like a wholesome match, that was until he ranked the others brides as more attractive than Caitlin. To make matters worse, Caitlin catches Shannon on the phone with his ex-girlfriend who he later says he is still in love with. He gets a major telling off by the experts and has the audacity to write stay during the commitment ceremony. Bombastic side eye.

Shannon and Caitlin seem to be getting on with their lives and she is now in a new relationship with someone who makes her incredibly happy and Shannon is expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend. Oh, and they broke up again.

3. Dan showing pictures of his ex-girlfriend to the boys on a night out

Dan’s fall from grace on MAFS Australia season 10 is something to be studied. His relationship with Sandy seemed to be going from strength to strength. That was until he decided to show photos of his ex-partners to the boys and gush about how attractive they were and not Sandy. Although he denied this at the start, during the reunion the cast are shown a never before seen video of Hugo explaining the events of that night.

When Dan is asked by expert John Aiken if what he said was true Dan claimed he didn’t recall ever making such comments. John Aiken then said: “When you say you ‘don’t recall’, that suggests that is absolutely could have happened.” Dan admitted: “Yep”.

4. Evelyn hearing everything Dan said in a butt-dial

To make what Dan did even worse, Evelyn heard all of it over the phone! Rupert accidentally butt-dialled Evelyn during the night out which is how the whole drama came to be. Evelyn told Sandy first and the rest is now left in the MAFS history books.

5. Claire cheating on Jesse

A cheating scandal on MAFS Australia is nothing new. After all, it has happened on many seasons before. This cheating scandal went on for way longer than it should have, especially when it came to Claire and Jesse.

To sum it up: Claire kissed Adam and kept it from Jesse. Jesse had worries about Claire’s faithfulness but believed her when she said nothing was going on. After two weeks Claire feels bad and then tells Jesse. Jesse wants to leave the experiment but Claire writes stay so they can crack on for another month. Still with me?

The saga went on for way longer than it should have and despite Claire and Jesse working on things, Harrison’s seed of doubt is what saw an end to their relationship.

6. Adam cheating on Janelle and sleeping with her afterwards

The other part of the cheating scandal on season 10 of MAFS Australia was Adam and Janelle. Adam left Janelle to go on a night out where he kissed Claire and had the audacity to have sex with Janelle afterwards! To make matters even worse, Janelle has claimed Adam still hasn’t apologised to her.

7. Harrison dumping Bronte one day randomly

In a truly random turn of events, Harrison dumps Bronte out of blue just before a dinner party. There’s no use in trying to make sense of it because they got back together shortly after.

8. Cameron leaving until the last minute to tell Lyndall how far away he works

Cameron and Lyndall were quite a strong couple to begin with until he began to show signs of disinterest in her. The couple went back and forth for a while and it eventually came crashing down when Cameron revealed his work to Lyndall.

Before appearing on the experiment, Cameron told MAFS Australia producers he was a carpenter in Indigenous communities in the remote Northern Territory. During the show, Cameron told Lyndall his work could have him working away for six months at a time. He decided to tell her this two weeks before the experiment ended. Priorities Cam, please!

9. Harrison shitting on Melinda and Layton’s relationship every single day

If there was on couple Harrison didn’t like it was Melinda and Layton. During the experiment he would constantly have a pop at Melinda for often no reason at all. One time he told Layton that he was in a toxic relationship and Melinda was having none of it!

This is a very laugh out loud moment because Melinda and Layton are one of the only couples still together!

10. Alyssa using her child as an excuse for her behaviour

Four words. I have a child! Need I say anymore to remind you?
