Presenting award shows and partying with Tulisa: Inside Jay’s it girl life since MAFS

Jay Howard and Denise Welch is the iconic duo I never knew I needed

Married At First Sight wrapped up over a month ago now, but as we all know, the cast haven’t let this stop them having fun. Despite leaving early, Jay is still one of the favourite cast members from the show and seeing her getting up to so much after splitting from Luke is just heartwarming. From PrettyLittleThing Christmas parties to performing and presenting at awards nights, our Jay’s social calendar is pretty much full and the chances of seeing her on a night out on the town in Accrington are growing increasingly slim – but here’s to hoping. Here’s a look at what Jay from MAFS UK 2023 is doing now.

Parting with the MAFS 2023 cast at Christmas parties… and partying in general

They clearly can’t be apart for long, as Jay posted a picture of her and the MAFS gang just three days ago at the PrettyLittleThing Christmas party. And in classic Jay mode, she was of course herself, having both tried out the ball pit and and snapped a selfie with N-Dubz’s Tulisa.

Partying with A-listers looks good on Jay, as she was also invited to the Look Fantastic Christmas party only a few weeks ago.

She’s a regular at prestigious award shows these days

Attending the Royal Television Society Awards, the Beauty Awards, the Inclusive awards and the Moulin Rouge Charity Ball in the past few weeks alone, it’s fair to say Jay is well on her way to celeb status. Seeing her all dolled up on the red carpets is enough to make any MAFS fan smile. Jay Howard and Denise Welch dressed up all fancy at the Moulin Rouge Charity Ball is an iconic duo I never knew I needed – I’m praying for her own presenting gig on the telly soon.

Jay, of course, made time for weekends away in the Lake District

The trip looked like a girls trip of dreams, with a mix of outdoorsy walks and of course, drinks in the hot tub. Everyone needs a group of girls who treat them to a luxury weekend away every now and then. Jay was even dressed in a pink PLT tracksuit – do we have a brand deal on the way?

She spoke on representing disabled people on national TV

Since leaving the show, Jay spoke about her experience on MAFS UK 2023 and the need for representation on TV. Speaking to both BBC and Furbar Radio, she explained the importance of spreading disability awareness for the limb different community and how her confidence has put mothers of children with limb differences “at ease”.

Explaining how despite being able to do a lot for herself, she still battles her own difficulties with fastening buttons and stud earrings but that she’d been told that her casting on MAFS UK 2023 served as inspiration for many.

Jay volunteered for charity alongside other famous faces

She does it all! A real people’s princess, Jay shared on her Instagram that she was supporting the charity Action for Children’s winter cabin, which raised funds for vulnerable children at Christmas. She was joined by other celebs including Harry Redknapp, Larry Lamb and Luca Bish and looked fabulous as ever in a festive cloak.

And she stole the show at her work Christmas party

Humble as ever, Jay of course attended her work Christmas party, posing with her Warrantywise colleagues where she worked as an account manager for the last eight years. She clearly hasn’t let her newly acquired status as a MAFS alumni get to her head.
