A ‘Temple Bar’ themed Irish pub is opening in Cardiff next month

It will have over 70 different whiskeys available and be open until 2am


An Irish pub inspired by the Temple Bar district will be opening on High Street in Cardiff next month.

The pub which will be replacing Havana is due to open on the 2nd February and promises to hold live music and sports every day. It will also be decked out with lots of television screens, ideal to watch upcoming Six Nations fixtures on.

Temple Bar will be owned by the company that currently runs nearby Coyote Ugly and is said to bring “true Irish tradition to the streets of Cardiff”. It will also have a traditional Irish and promises to provide some proper good craic.

The establishment also already has acts lined up for all seven nights a week, according to their website including a plethora of local artists.

On the website, there is also a section to book a table in advance and a form to fill in for those who would like a job at the new pub.
