The start date for Love Island 2023 has been revealed and it is just weeks away

I’m so ready for this

Just weeks after winter Love Island 2023 ended, we have the start date for the summer series and it’s reportedly kicking off on 5th June 2023.

Iconic host Maya Jama will be returning following her success on the winter version of the show.

This year’s intake of singles will be flown out to Majorca next month and the winners are set to stay in the villa for two months.

A source says: “Love Island will start on 5th June, just as people are getting ready to enjoy their summers. ITV have already lined up the islanders who will be heading to the show’s villa in Majorca. The cast will fly out late next month ready for the show to begin in just eight weeks. It is hugely exciting and those working on the show cannot wait to get started. This series will be eight weeks long, meaning the couple who win the show will be in the villa for two months. Maya is chomping at the bit to get to work on this series too. Having her on board has given Love Island a real boost and it’s expected that ratings will soar.”

The cast will be returning to the £2.57million villa used in the last summer series.

Now I’m not saying the winter season was a flop because we had Maya Jama and were given Kanam, but also nothing can be compared to the roaring success of the summer Love Island. I need it now!
