Here comes Lana! The 25-year-old Love Islander whose dream man is Louis Theroux

She was also an extra on Benidorm x

I can’t believe I’m saying this already – but tonight’s the night! Happy winter Love Island day to all who celebrate. I’m just going to throw it out there; this year’s winter Islanders entering the villa look set to be the most iconic yet. Among them is 25-year-old Lana Jenkins, a makeup artist with real sweetheart vibes a la Tasha Ghouri and Liberty Poole.

She’s quick to fall in love, she’s bilingual and she’d get Margot Robbie to play her in a film about her life. Here’s absolutely everything you need to know about Lana.

Lana lives in Luton and works as a makeup artist

…But that’s not all! A woman of many talents, Lana has also appeared on Benidorm as an extra – having lived in Spain at the age of six and being able to speak fluent Spanish. As a makeup artist, she’s worked with “lots of celebrities,” which she says is her “clame to fame.”

Lana’s been single for a few years, which is why she’s chosen this year to finally find love. “Now’s the right time to be doing something a bit different,” she said. “I’ve not been able to find someone who suits me so it’s good to be doing something totally different and try to meet someone a different way.”

She has two *huge* icks

Seriously, do not do these things if you ever want a chance with Lana. “I don’t mind people texting me all the time,” she said. “But if you send me question marks if I’ve not replied to you in a while, you’re gone. That’s a really big red flag for me!

“Also if I see a guy trip over, that’s an instant turn-off.” Same, Lana. Same.

Her most recent date ended in absolute horror

As a self-professed “picky” dater, it takes a lot to impress Lana. Which is why, when her last date went horrendously, she left early and never spoke to him again.

“He was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous,” she said. “Ten-out-of-ten and my perfect type – so I was really excited to meet him. When I arrived he literally took me to a bar next door to his flat and hadn’t made much effort… all he did was talk about himself and his work. Then he took a phone call for 20 minutes and didn’t even apologise!

“I then said, ‘oh I’m going to have to go’ and then he went, ‘see ya later.”

Winter Love Island 2023 starts on ITV2 at 9pm on Monday 16th January. For all the latest Love Island news, memes, quizzes and gossip – follow The Holy Church of Love Island on Facebook.
