Harry Styles with Adidas 'Satelite Stomper' trainers

Adidas has actually renamed Gazelle trainers to ‘Satellite stompers’ in honour of Harry Styles

Getting myself a pair right NOW

It’s well-known among his fans that Harry Styles loves his Adidas Gazelle trainers. I can’t escape videos of him leaping around on stage with the iconic three stripes on show.

The shoes can be seen at every Love on Tour show and in every outfit post on his stylist’s Twitter. So much so that Harry fans began nicknaming the shoes “Satellite Stompers” referring to the stompy dance that he does whilst performing his song Satellite.

But Adidas has just officially renamed the shoes to “Satellite Stompers” in honour of Harry’s love of the shoe.

The Adidas website says: “With its ability to elevate any ensemble, the Adidas Gazelle has become a staple in Harry Styles’ wardrobe, leaving a lasting impression on his dedicated fans, who affectionately refer to them as Satellite Stompers.”

Adidas said that Harry often incorporates Gazelles into his signature look, which they call “eclectic and distinctive”. The website reads: “The shoe’s timeless design, featuring a sleek silhouette and iconic three stripes, perfectly complements his unique aesthetic. Its versatility and comfort make it an ideal choice for both casual and formal outfits.”

Although the shoes came out in the 1960s, Harry definitely created a resurgence with fans rushing to buy their own Satellite Stompers to wear for his tour. Other celebs such as Brad Pitt and Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor have also been seen in the trainers.  My TikTok FYP is forever full of the fashion girlies unboxing a new pair of Gazelles in different colours.

Adidas apparently also wishes for a collab with Harry. A source told The Daily Mirror: “A collab between Adidas and Harry is a no-brainer. Having his limited edition designs on Gazelles would be a sell-out.”

Buying myself a pair of Satellite Stompers right now!
