The Fortune Hotel is the newest reality TV show to come from ITV, and whilst it’s already being compared to The Traitors, it was filmed in a much sunnier location than Scotland at the Silversands Resort in the Caribbean.

The premise of the show, hosted by Stephen Mangan, is that each couple gets given a briefcase but eight of them are completely empty, one contains an early checkout card and the final briefcase has £250,000 in cash inside. But the lucky contestants get to stay in the gorgeous Silversands Resort whilst The Fortune Hotel is filmed, which can cost over £5,000 per night so let’s find out more about what this breathtaking resort has to offer.

The resort opened in February last year in Grenada costing a whopping £98 million to build the 43 suites and penthouses, including four private villas. The cheapest room costs £558 per night offering a view of the surrounding garden that you can look out from your private balcony. The most expensive accommodation the resort offers costs a whopping £5,100 per night and is the four-bedroom private villa situated directly on the beachfront with its own pool!

And once you’ve finished luxuriating on your balcony there’s still a lot to do from dune buggies, jeep adventures, ATV tours and snorkelling, there’s a lot to keep you entertained! The resort also offers a relaxing-looking spa as well as some delicious restaurants featuring lots of fresh and local delicacies, My stomach is rumbling already.
