Justin Timberlake finally breaks his silence over arrest, admits it’s been a ‘tough week’

Justin confessed to his fans that he’s ‘hard to love’

Following his arrest for driving whilst intoxicated last Tuesday, Justin Timberlake has broken his silence and spoken out about the arrest during his most recent concert performance. He was pulled over after police saw him “failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.”

According to the officer’s report, Justin’s eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and he had a “strong odour of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. He was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardised field sobriety tests.” According to Page Six the officer who arrested him didn’t know who he was, and Justin voiced his concerns that the arrest would “ruin the tour.” His now iconic quite has sparked a thousand truly incredible memes.

Justin Timberlake seemed to address his arrest as he returned to the stage for his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Chicago. He spoke to the crowd about being together “through ups and downs” and said, “It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment.” 🎥: zachlmoss/X #justintimberlake #TFTWTOUR

Almost one week after his arrest Justin Timberlake spoke out about the events during his most recent concert during his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

He admitted to his crowd of fans that he is “sometimes hard to love.” He continued: “We’ve been together through ups and downs, lefts and rights. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now. I know sometimes I’m hard to love but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much.”

For now, it looks like Justin will be able to continue his world tour, however he does have a court date set for a concert day. Justin is due in court on July 26th following the arrest charges but he’s supposed to be playing in Krakow that day. The outcome of the court date could potentially affect the rest of the tour, but we’ll have to wait and see what the verdict is.
