Nicole admits she already regretted picking Sam whilst still in Love Is Blind UK pods
She really wasn’t a fan of him
It turns out Nicole already had major doubts about picking Sam over Benaiah before she’d even left the Love Is Blind UK pods. As if that moment when they finally saw each other in person wasn’t already bad enough, she had major regrets when he proposed to her.
In an interview with Express, Nicole revealed more about the exact moment during Love Is Blind UK when she realised she should have picked Benaiah over Sam. She explained: “This is going to be hard to articulate, and hindsight is 20/20, but if I’m really honest with myself, it was in those pods when he proposed.”

She continued: “I knew that it just didn’t feel right. When he proposed, I said yes, and then it was me declaring my feelings for him at the time, which were real in those pods for me. And when he said, ‘I think I love you,’ you could actually see my face… It clicked that something just wasn’t quite right there and I tried to, obviously, persevere with my word.
“I wanted to see it out, see it through, so I don’t just cut things off on a whim, right? But it just wasn’t right. I knew it in the micro… Even at the reveal. There were just so many stages where I was just getting that confirmation that it just wasn’t right.”
