Despite Love Is Blind UK having plenty of drama, it turns out there were a lot of unaired scenes that didn’t make the final cut. From huge fights to secret engagements, there was a lot of extra juicy drama we never got to see, but luckily for us, the cast have talked in detail about everything that got edited out.

Sam and Nicole’s off camera split

Despite Sam proposing to Nicole, the pair soon decided to call off their Love Is Blind UK relationship, leading Nicole to reconnect and get married to Benaiah instead.

The pair split up off camera and we weren’t sure what exactly had gone down between Sam and Nicole that had led to the end of the Love Is Blind UK engagement. However, in an interview with The Sun, Sam explained exactly what happened between them that resulted in their split.

He revealed: “We went home [after the pods] and we spent two days together. We had a cheeky Nando’s, she spoke to my parents on the phone, and I was like, ‘Dad, look, you know, this is bizarre, but I guess I’ve got a fiancée!’ I spoke to her sister on the phone, we were all FaceTiming. We went out for dinner with other cast members from the show, we had a great time… but there was no chemistry there. It was more like friends.”

Jasmine’s heated conversation with Demi

Jasmine shed more light on the whole situation with Demi and Ollie, explaining a moment that got cut: “Just talking about the Demi and Ollie situation, there are a lot of things people didn’t get to see behind closed doors. Obviously my delivery could have been better. 1000 per cent. But looking back on that, me and Demi have had multiple conversations about her wanting to go home prior to that mixer.

“Which made me even more annoyed because she was my best friend in the pods and that wasn’t what we had planned. So I think that’s why I came off a little bit strong because I didn’t want her to go home, and I wanted her to have that fairytale ending.”

Cat’s conversation with Freddie about a prenup

Cat explained two scenes from Love Is Blind UK that were unaired and ended up getting cut. She revealed: “Yeah, a lot actually. At the mixer, when was very up and down with my emotions, my mum and dad had had a house fire that night. I actually got pulled off set so when I came back on set, I was very upset and my emotions were up and down, that was obviously not shown.

“With the prenup, I didn’t know what a prenup was. So, again I actually agreed with Freddie and I respected his decision, I think it’s the right thing. That wasn’t shown apart from my friends explaining it all. There’s a lot the viewers haven’t seen.”

An engagement off camera we never got to see

It turns out there was another Love Is Blind UK cast engagement we didn’t see with Conor and Olivia. Olivia explained she felt an “instant connection” with him and he eventually proposed to her, although they were not chosen as one of the couples to be aired.

However, after the pair left Grace the reality of their future long distance crept in and eventually their relationship fizzled out. Conor said: “Connecting in the pods is a very specific situation and removes a lot of the circumstances of real life from the equation. Entering back into the real world poses challenges to the relationship. In the end, we decided it would be better to remain as friends.”

Ollie’s secret relationship with Sharlotte

Whilst we saw Ollie having connections with Demi and Catherine during Love Is Blind UK, he also had a relationship with Sharlotte in unaired and cut scenes. While appearing on an episode of the YouTube series, Jess A Couple Things, he revealed that scenes of his dates with Sharlotte were cut from Love Is Blind UK despite their “strong connection.”

He revealed: “She was a little bit more withdrawn than she would be in real life, so I wasn’t really feeling the same kind of buzz as I would be outside.” When he broke things off with her she decided to go home, but at the reunion revealed the two had reconnected “outside the experiment.” Watch this space!

Benaiah asking Charlotte’s dad for her hand in marriage

Benaiah revealed another scene he “wished wasn’t cut” from the final edit, revealing: “A big thing for me is when I met your mum and dad. I asked your dad for their blessing, going forward to get married. I think I would have done that anyway, ask your mum and dad, ‘Do you approve us going forward, getting engaged and getting married?’

“So I had a really nice conversation with your dad and he basically gave us his full blessing. He said you have our full support going forward, should you choose to get married, welcome to the family.’ So that was a really big moment for me, that he did that.”
