Cat addresses rumours she and Sam secretly dated outside of the Love Is Blind UK pods
They were flirting up a storm at the reunion
During Love Is Blind UK there was a lot of speculation about whether Cat and Sam had dated each other inside the pods, especially after their very flirtatious encounter at the mixer.
If you need a little refresher on what went down, Cat repeatedly told Freddie how similar to her ex Sam looked which understandably made him feel uncomfortable. Freddie then briefly commented that Sharlotte looked pretty which caused Cat to go and flirt with Sam right in front of Freddie. Yikes.

The rumours of them dating only increased after some of the TikTok’s Sam made seemed to hint that something either had happened or was happening between the pair. When Sam first set up his account he set his profile picture to one of him and Cat, before making a strange video where he pretended she was on the phone with him and called her “babe.” Strange vibes all around.

But, in a new Instagram story, Cat has very briefly addressed the rumours that she and Sam ever dated either in or outside the Love Is Blind UK pods. She wrote: “Thank you everyone for showing kindness and love.”

She continued: “Just to keep everyone updated. I dated Jake in the pods but didn’t continue for my own reasons then after filming was finished weeks on we met up and nearly a year later we are here, we had to keep it a secret until everything was shown on screens.

“Also to clear the air me and Sam never dated in the pods or outside of filming. Remember to be kind and respectful.” That’s all that cleared up then, hopefully, Sam has got the hint too!
