Everyone’s wondering what Molly-Mae’s big announcement is, and I think I’ve figured it out

Molly-Mae has been hinting that she has a big announcement to make at the start of September, and everyone has been eagerly trying to work out exactly what exactly she’s going to be announcing.

Following her split from Tommy she shared on her Instagram story: “Watching a vision come to life yesterday. 01.09.24… Save the date. I can’t actually put into words how excited I am at the concept of being able to share everything with you all soon. Launching has felt so out of reach for so long but finally, I can see the finish line… I’ve never been so excited to share something with you in my whole career.”

And after some serious research, I think I might have a slight clue as to what exactly she’s launching. A new Instagram account called maebe store recently popped up on Instagram, but it’s already been verified and has 23.6k followers despite having no posts. However, the account is following one other person, none other than Miss Molly-Mae herself… You cannot tell me that maebe and Molly-Mae don’t sound very similar names.

But the rabbit hole goes deeper. The Tab can reveal that Companies House lists a business under the name of MAEBE LTD which was registered on the 30th of September last year. The company is currently listed as being active and describes its nature of business as “other retail sale in non-specialised stores” and “other retail sale not in stores, stalls or markets.” So basically some form of online store but the sounds of it.

Well, the office address for MAEBE is the exact same as Filter by Molly-Mae. Coincidence? I think not. Molly is also the current officer for MMH LIFESTYLE LIMITED, which has the exact same office address as Filter and MAEBE…

Following on from that, it seems that both MAEBE STORE and MAEBE have been registered as official trademarks in the Intellectual Property Office. Both trademarks were registered on 24th October 202, almost one month after MAEBE was registered on Companies House. The addresses for both trademarks also match up with the ones registered for her other companies.

The trademark also reveals a list of goods, which provides more information about what a company is going to sell to make sure the copyright and products are not infringed upon.

From the list of goods listed on both MAEBE and MAEBE STORE, they include leather and limitations of leather which seem to be mainly bags as well as clothing and footwear. So whilst we can’t know 100 per cent until Molly-Mae reveals the big announcement herself, my best is on it being her own clothing and bag brand called Maebe. Watch this space!
