Tom slams Love Is Blind UK co-star Sam as ‘someone who desperately needs validation’

Yikes, it seems like the guys of this year’s Love Is Blind UK cast are not holding back when it comes to savagely shading each other, and Tom has absolutely slammed Sam. Who would’ve thought it’d be the grooms causing the most post show drama, but honestly I’m 100 per cent here for it.
During an Ask Me Anything on Reddit, one Love Is Blind UK viewer asked Tom a very savage question regarding the rest of the cast’s feelings about Sam. Sam has quickly become regarded as the villain of Love Is Blind UK, and judging by the reactions of his co-stars when he walked in during the reunion, I’d hedge my bets they’re not to keen on him.

The Redditor asked: “Does the cast agree that Sam sucks? Did they cut out Catherine being asked about flirting with Sam at the mixer from the reunion? Who are you still friends with from the cast?”
Whilst Tom coyly avoided answering the part about Catherine being asked about flirting with Sam, he had some very choice words to describe his co-star. He replied: “Ahhhh Sam is a complicated man. I think he’s someone who desperately needs to find validation from other people due to his own insecurities, and that meant that he came into the experiment wanting to be a version of himself that other people wanted, rather than being authentically himself.
“And that’s why he ended up getting so much heat. He obviously needs to do some work to go and find out who he truly is and work on some of his less desirable characteristics, but hell, we all do!” Yowza, what a brutal response.

He also answered who he’s still friends with out of the cast, explaining: “Friends-wise I’ll always be tight with the other boys. My interpretation of friendship is, who is still going to be around when you’re going through shit and the chips are down?
“And by that measure it’d be Steve and Ollie. They’ve both had some stick on here too and I guess that’s why they understand the pain!”
