All the Love Is Blind UK cast members who had to go through therapy after the show
After everything that happened I don’t blame them
A lot of the cast of Love Is Blind UK have revealed they had to go into therapy following their time on the show. With everything that went down both in and outside of the pods I really don’t blame them.
In an interview with ITN, the girls of the show discussed more about their time in therapy with Maria explaining: “I think having a year to digest and process that this was a lot of fun and we got to learn a lot of stuff. I feel like it was much needed.”
After discussing how she went solo travelling following her split with Steven, Sabrina also added she’d also done “a lot of therapy.” Love Is Blind UK cast members Catherine, Demi and Maria all added they’d also had to “start therapy after the show” with Demi explaining: “I think everyone would benefit from a non-biased person to talk to because when you speak out about your emotions it really helps you process them.”

Sabrina explained more about the effect of her split on her mental health in an interview with The Mirror, revealing she has been diagnosed with depression following her time on the show.
She explained: “I was diagnosed with depression, I had a lot of anticipatory grief for the life we were meant to have together. That was really hard to come to terms with, because for me it was legit, it was real and I had this whole life planned out with this person. So that was really difficult to let go of. You’re almost mourning something that hasn’t even happened yet.

“I isolated myself from my friends for a long time out of embarrassment. I’ve asked them all to come to the wedding and then 86 days later I’m like, ‘Yeah, it didn’t work out.’ So I just took a lot of time to work on myself. Did a lot of therapy, still doing therapy. And did some solo travelling and gradually started to get back to myself.”
