1,000-lb star Amy Slaton shockingly arrested over child endangerment and drug charges

Amy was visiting a safari park when authorities were alerted to reports a guest had been bitten by a camel


Amy Slaton, star of the reality TV show, 1,000-lb Sisters, has been shockingly arrested over child endangerment and drug charges whilst at Tennesee Safari Park.

On Monday 2nd September, the Crockett Country Sherriff’s Department responded to reports of a guest reportedly being bitten by a camel at Tennessee Safari Park in Alamo.

The department put out a statement on Facebook confirming the details of the arrest, writing: “Upon arrival, deputies were immediately overtaken by suspicious odours coming from the guest’s vehicle.” Following the reports both Amy Slaton and Brian Scott Lovvorn were arrested and are currently facing charges of illegal possession of schedule I, illegal possession of schedule IV and two counts of child endangerment.

They are both being held at Crockett County Jail, however, the authorities have not currently identified who was bitten or given further information about the reported camel bite.

The department continued in its post: “The charges and allegations referenced in this release are merely accusations of criminal conduct and not evidence. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted through due process of law.”
