People convinced Justin Bieber wants to ‘protect’ Billie Eilish after his time with P Diddy

In a resurfaced interview from 2020, Justin Bieber admitted his desire to “protect” Billie Eilish from the “dark” music industry and people think it’s related to his “regret” from working with former mentor P Diddy when he was younger.

In the interview, Justin Bieber talked to Zane Lowe from Apple Music, and expressed his desire to make sure Billie doesn’t have to “go through” any of the “encounters” he went through when he was younger.

He explained: “It was hard for me being in the music industry and being that young and not knowing where to turn and everyone, you know, telling me they loved me, and, you know, just turn your back on you in a second. Thinking about how young I was, and so impressionable, and you have everybody telling me how awesome I am at all times.

“If she ever needs me I’m going to be here for her. I’m just a call away. But, yeah, just protecting those moments because people take for granted, encounters and I just want to protect her. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody.”

However, it is currently pure speculation that Justin Bieber was talking about “protecting” Billie Eilish in relation to having P Diddy as a former mentor when he was younger.

Whilst Billie and P Diddy haven’t collaborated on a song together, he was the person she hugged first after winning a Grammy award and later joked about how she “ran to hug him” before her parents or brother.

Justin and Diddy first met in 2009 after he signed with Usher’s record label at just 15, with Diddy taking on a mentorship role towards the singer. The pair continued to hang out together over the years and even collaborated on a song together in 2013.

However, following the recent charges against Diddy, Justin “regrets” his collaboration with the rapper and is “unwilling” to process it, according to Daily Mail.

The source revealed: “Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off,” the source said.  So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him. Justin hasn’t been responding to this since the home raids. He’s not going to.

“He had a long break from Diddy when he believes most of this took place and he had distanced himself from him. He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it”
