Charlie brutally reveals her current relationship status with Eve following MAFS UK exit

Charlie has revealed exactly what her current relationship status is with Eve following the pair of them quitting MAFS UK 2024. When we last saw them, they both decided to leave the experiment following a tumultuous couple of weeks, and Charlie has now admitted she hasn’t “seen or spoken” to Eve since seeing her on the couch.

In an interview with The Sun, Charlie confessed: “The last time I saw or spoke to Eve was on that sofa at the last commitment ceremony. Me and Eve do not have a relationship at all.”

Charlie was asked whether she thinks Eve was the “real bully”, she replied: “I’m not here to name call but let’s just say I sleep very well at night knowing that deep down me and Eve are the only ones who know what really went down and the actual truth and we both know I’m not a bully.”

Charlie previously appeared on the MAFS UK: It’s Official! podcast with Chloe Burrows to spill the gossip about what exactly went wrong in her relationship with Eve on MAFS UK 2024.

She revealed what the “tuning moment” was when she knew their relationship was unsavageable as well as what Eve could have done to potentially save it.

Chloe asked Charlie: “We saw communication slightly break down on the honeymoon. Do you want to walk us through a little bit of that?”

Charlie replied: “I think we both had very different communication styles, but at the same time I think we’re both very energetic people and big characters. Which, then when it came to a disagreement it felt like somebody was always trying to get one up.

“It’s hard because I think we’re so passionate we just didn’t click when it comes to just trying to talk calmly with each other. I still couldn’t get out the back of my head that there was that thing at the beginning, and I was holding onto that.”

Chloe then asked about when Eve refused to write the letter during MAFS UK 2024 experts week and asked Charlie if that was a “turning point” for her and the relationship.

Charlie responded: “Yes. My brain clicked at that point. Just because at the time I felt like I was doing everything in my power that was set for us by the experts to make our relationship get to that next point. And then anything that was thrown at us was shut down.

“Whereas actually maybe if she’d actually taken time to write the letter and be a bit more honest and open with me, it would have worked out. We signed up for this, we knew what to expect and I feel like we needed to go into it with an open mind regardless of the things that had happened.

“If you’re going to agree to stay and move on from it then let’s physically do that, whereas in my eyes that never happened on Eve’s part. She was sticking to her guns, in her eyes I wasn’t the right person for her.”

Charlie then admitted that by the time the MAFS UK 2024 commitment ceremony came around, there was “no coming back” to save their relationship and their relationship was “long gone.”
