I hate to break it to you but it turns out Cooper Koch is actually a huge nepo baby

After the release of Netflix’s latest true-crime series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, Cooper Koch has been all over my social media.

Blowing up for his role as Erik in the retelling of the harrowing story, people are learning that whilst Cooper is incredibly talented as an actor, apparently he’s actually a bit of a nepo baby as well.

Here’s a look into the life of Cooper Koch and whether he’s a nepo baby

Growing up with family in the film industry, there’s no surprise the actor has made his way onto everybody’s screens.

Cooper was involved with local theatre productions from age five, with his first role back in 2007 being in Fracture, where he worked alongside Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins. There’s no doubt his acting skills were then refined at university where he took up fine arts.

But ironically, playing the son of an affluent family in the series, Cooper Koch is being labelled as a nepo baby as he’s the product of a successful family in the film industry. Born to Billy Koch, Cooper’s father is a proclaimed visual-effects editor and has worked on loads of huge projects, including Space Jam.

On top of that, Cooper’s grandfather and great-grandfather were both successful movie producers, having worked on movies such as Waynes’s World (1992) and Collateral Damage (2002). Cooper’s twin brother, Payton Koch, works as a film editor so acting and production is basically in his blood.

Whilst at university, Cooper also took up modelling showing face for the now gorp-core brand, Patagonia. There’s no surprise either, he is a handsome guy.

Despite the hardships, the actor is determined to angle his newly-proclaimed fame towards Broadway, whether he uses his nepo connections to get there or not.
