All the insanely vibey things Sophie Turner has been up to a year after her divorce from Joe Jonas

It’s officially been a year since Sophie Turner formally dumped Joe Jonas and announced their divorce on Instagram. Their divorce was properly finalised on 11th September 2023. Now she no longer has to say she likes the Jonas Brothers’ music, Sophie seems to be in her thriving era and we love that for her. She’s been starring in new shows, hanging out with Taylor Swift and dating mysterious aristocrats.

Here are all the fun things Sophie Turner has been up to since divorcing Joe Jonas.

Sophie Tuner has actually acted in something other than Game of Thrones

Sophie Turner seems to be focusing on her career a bit more, now her kids are slightly older and she no longer has to spend time with Joe Jonas.

She’s playing the lead role in a crime drama called Joan, which starts airing on ITV on 29th September. Sophie Turner will star as Joan Hannington, a real woman from London who divorced her nasty husband and became a jewellery thief and criminal mastermind in the 1980s. The show is based on Joan’s Hannington’s real memoir I Am What I Am: The True Story of Britain’s Most Notorious Jewel Thief. Consider me hyped.

In May, Sophie Turner filmed another crime drama called Haven with Archie Madekwe (aka Farleigh in Saltburn). The show is about an office worker who gets mixed up in a dangerous heist. There’s no news yet about when the show will come out. She’s also signed on to star in a sci-fi film called Cloud One.

Sophie Turner captioned her end of 2023 photo roundup Instagram post with “2023 was the year of the girlies. 2024s forecast is looking fairly consistent.”

Her Insta is full of cute pics of her hanging out with her friends. She went on a skiing trip with her friends in January.

She’s been hanging out with Taylor Swift

Sophie Turner seems to be doing perfectly fine (and yes, that was a deliberate Taylor Swift song reference) after her divorce. Swifties had a meltdown in September when the pair were spotted eating spaghetti together. Taylor Swift even let Sophie Turner and her daughters Willa and Delphine live rent free in her spare apartment in New York.

Sophie told British Vogue, “Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year. I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold.”

In December, Sophie helped the charity Crisis for Christmas. She prepared packages to give out to homeless people.

Sophie Turner is dating a guy who might as well be a Bridgerton character

In October 2023, Sophie was spotted in Paris snogging The Honourable Peregrine John Dickinson Pearson, the eldest son of Michael Pearson, the fourth Viscount Cowdray. So, he’s set to become the next Viscount and inherit a £224 million fortune. The 29-year-old aristocrat is the director of a property development company called Weetman Developments. He has a side hustle as a brand ambassador for a luxury wellie boot company called Le Chameau. Really.

Before falling in love with Sophie Turner (and who can blame him?), Peregrine was in a relationship for three years with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, the third cousin and goddaughter of King Charles III. This sounds like the storyline in a period drama.

Sophie and Perry have been spotted on posh brunch dates in London and at Blenheim palace. They went on a hunting weekend together in December, and went to Paris Fashion Week together in March.

She’s as glamorous as ever

Sophie Turner was on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Germany in January, and British Vogue in May. She told British Vogue, “I’m actually the happiest I’ve been in a really long time”. We love to hear it.
