All the green flags that prove Kieran from MAFS UK 2024 is a gem among men

If the grooms on MAFS are this grim, I dread to think what was wrong with the men who got rejected from the show. The grooms this year really are the dregs of mankind. Adam and Caspar have complained that their wives aren’t size zeros. I lack the words to explain everything that’s wrong with Alex. Yet Kristina Goodsell’s groom Kieran Champan has become more and more likeable as MAFS UK 2024 has gone on, and now I would die for him and his dog.

Kristina opened up to Kieran on their fancy honeymoon about her premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Kieran couldn’t have been more supportive. He said, “Well just know, if times do get hard, I’ll do my absolute best to make sure that I’m there for you. Because you deserve someone to do that for you. Like I come with quirks. I’ve got a hairy butt crack!” This is actually such a considerate and wise way to respond. Complete respect. (Hairy butt cracks aside.)

When Kristina has reacted very emotionally to challenges set by the experts, or to her mum and best friend coming for dinner, Kieran has been really respectful of her feelings. You can tell that the bar is on the floor when I’m excited that a man isn’t calling a woman over the top or hysterical for crying.

In the last commitment ceremony, Kristina said, “everything I’ve always wanted is just to be accepted for me.” Kieran replied, “I accept you.” This is way too cute and I can’t handle it.

Really. On 3rd October, Kieran released a track of music that he’d composed about Kristina. You can listen to all four minutes and 42 seconds of Stina here on Soundcloud. I actually don’t think it’s half bad?

Kieran made a video from pics of him and Kristina on MAFS UK 2024. And also of his dog.

Kristina quickly commented underneath: “I have no words other than you are the most incredible human I’ve ever met. You truly have a heart of pure gold! You deserve the universe. Thank you so much.”

This doesn’t give, ‘I stormed dramatically out of a commitment ceremony in week five’ does it?

Kieran is a man yet has emotional intelligence?

Competent social skills are such a rarity among the male species. Not only has Kieran been so kind to Kristina when she’s been feeling emotional, but he’s acted really maturely around the rest of the group. Sometimes in MAFS, the brides and grooms who are in more stable relationships feel left out of the drama at dinner parties, so they start getting involved in arguments unnecessarily. They suddenly think they’re the experts and interrogate other couples, or give opinions when they’re not wanted.

So far, Kieran has managed to stay out of all the drama, which is pretty impressive considering how many relationships are imploding all around him.

I one hundred per cent believe that dogs turn out like their owners, so you can make judgemental comments about people’s personalities based on how well behaved their dogs are.

Kieran has a whole Instagram story highlight devoted to the wonder that is his Rottweiler Hugo. The dog has an impressive array of tricks – he rolls over, presents his paw for a handshake, and is trustworthy enough to be the ring bearer at Kieran and Kristina’s wedding. My dog would have eaten the rings, weed on the cameras and escaped into the car park.

To quote Kristina, Kieran has ‘a six foot personality’

Not going to lie, if I walked down the aisle looking radiant and my husband decided to make this super romantic moment into a prank by putting on some false teeth, I would run straight back home. But some people did somehow find this hilarious. Lucky for Kieran, Kristina was one of them.

Kieran and Kristina have the same weird sense of humour, so they can be themselves in each other’s company. Even if you’d never voluntarily watch one of Kieran’s clown shows, you have to admit that it’s lovely to watch two people connect on such a deep level.

In stark contrast to Lacey and Nathan’s Fajitagate incident, Kieran seemed to have a cute and cosy evening with Kristina’s mum and best friend. Plus, their dinner looked leagues ahead of Lacey’s mum’s dry packet fajitas. Tomato pasta and garlic bread? Sign me up!

Kieran and Kristina might still be together…?

Pretty much every day, new evidence comes to light that some of the MAFS UK 2024 couples aren’t together any more. Eve had pics of her new girlfriend up on Insta before the show even aired. Ross has been flirting on Facebook with another woman. Emma and Caspar have only been communicating by text. Alex wrote about his relationship with Holly in the past tense. But so far, things are looking good for Kieran and Kristina.

He and Kristina follow each other on Instagram, even though Channel 4 discourages cast members from following each other in case it gives things away. Kieran and Kristina have also posted loads and loads of pics of their time on MAFS UK 2024 together. I don’t know about you, but this all feels pretty promising to me?

Not to be dramatic, but I will stop believing in love altogether if they break up.
