It’s nearly time! Here’s the confirmed start date for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Gagging for a new Battle Pass

In case the big Cipher update that released this morning wasn’t enough, the Fortnite end date for Chapter 4 Season 1 is nearly here and we’re only days away from Chapter 4 Season 2. If you’re anything like me, you’ll be dying for a new Battle Pass to blast through – even though this season has been fun, I’m ready for a load of new skins, interesting map changes and cool gameplay dynamics to get stuck into. Well, we won’t have to wait much longer – here’s when Chapter 4 Season 1 of Fortnite ends and when the start date for Chapter 4 Season 2 begins.

When is the start date for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

The end date for the current season has been confirmed as March 8th by the official @FortniteStatus Twitter account, which means that the new season will pretty much certainly follow the morning of the next day on March 9th. The only time a new season hasn’t started immediately was when Chapter 1 turned into Chapter 2 – but that’s it. So get ready for a new season full of gameplay tweaks, skins and map updates on March 9th. March 9th is annoyingly a Thursday – so unless you happen to be off work it won’t be a day spent gaming unlike when they launch on Sundays.

Chapter 1 saw Shockwave Hammers change the meta of the game, shields to throw up and the completely original Falcon Scout item that made Fortnite feel like it hasn’t ever felt before.

What’s coming in Chapter 2? One leaker thinks these survey skins could be in the Battle Pass, which would potentially have an Orient theme.

We don’t yet know if the end of the Chapter will have an event for us to get hyped for, but stay tuned because Epic will likely announce soon if so.
