Guys, Love Island winners Millie and Liam are reportedly back together?!

My heart can’t take this

I don’t mean to alarm anyone, but it’s been reported today that Love Island 2021 winners Millie and Liam are back together.

According to MailOnline, the couple have rekindled their romance nine months after calling it quits. They apparently spent the Easter weekend on a romantic retreat together, spending the Bank Holiday in the Lake District.

A source close to them has told MailOnline that the couple have been talking again, meeting up in secret and are working through their previous issues. “Millie and Liam have been talking again, but it’s early days for them,” they said.

“They weren’t expecting to get back together after their breakup was so painful for them both, but months have passed, and they still couldn’t stop thinking about each other. Coming out of Love Island was a whirlwind and now they’re just looking to take things slowly and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which may take some time.”

Just last week, Millie announced she’s dating someone new, but said she wasn’t ready to share who the mystery man is. “There have been a lot of rumours, I am going to confirm that I am dating someone but I’m not ready to tell you guys yet,” she said in a YouTube video.

“It’s early doors and you experienced a whole full-blown, meeting someone, relationship on TV and then everything afterwards. As much as that was the best experience of my life – it is a lot when you have all eyes on you and your relationship.”

The couple broke up in July last year, a year after winning the show together. At the time, Millie confirmed the news on Instagram, writing: “Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated. It’s been a tough decision and I am gutted but it’s ultimately what is best for us right now. Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship.

“Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does. We’re both ready for new chapters and I’m excited for what’s next.” Liam shared a similar message, adding he is “honestly so gutted” he and Millie have “sadly separated”.
