Omg, Peggy decides to QUIT the show and end her MAFS marriage with Georges!

‘I can’t do it anymore’

MAFS 2023 star Peggy decides to quit the show and end her marriage to Georges, The Sun is reporting. The publication has said the shock revelation is made during tonight’s show.

In recent Married at First Sight UK episodes, we’ve seen how Georges and Peggy haven’t had the easiest of journeys, struggling with intimacy and Peggy hasn’t been a fan of Georges’ online content, saying it’s “humiliating” for them. It looks as though this is set to all get too much, as she reportedly calls things off.

She says: “It’s really hard to say this. The girls are telling me one thing and I’m defending you because I feel like I know the real George but then do I know the real George because he’s acting different in front of other people?

“Then, I feel like a fool. I actually don’t know who the real person is. I just don’t know what it will take to make you just be you and sometimes I just don’t think you are listening to me. I just think well, ‘What’s the point?’ so for that reason my decision is to leave. I can’t do it any longer. He needs to change.”

The Daily Star is reporting things turn emotional between the couple, as they sit down for the dramatic commitment ceremony. “I feel like I’ve had to defend Georges,” Peggy tells the experts. “It’s got to the point now where I’m exhausted and I’m losing myself by having to carry Georges. If people really knew Georges behind closed doors and not the facade he puts on in social environments, they would love him.”

Georges then breaks down, and adds: “I am genuine and it kills me inside to hear that people don’t think I am.” As we know, the rules of the show state if one member of the couple votes leave but the other doesn’t, they have to stay to make things work. The Sun is reporting Peggy “quits” all together, but we’ll have to see what that means for their journey moving forward.

Talking about their problems previously, Georges said: “There is no intimacy and we are not progressing with that.” Peggy added: “We’ve had so many obstacles and we’ve got through them all stronger than ever, but intimacy has not progressed, there are a few things that put me off Georges.”

The couple are now one of many who have decided to end things during the show. Porscha and Terence couldn’t make things work, and neither could Ella and Nathanial or Bianca and JJ, before Ella and JJ returned as a new couple.

As well as that, tonight is the night where everything boils over between Jordan and Luke. Luke posted to say he “slaps” Jordan in the episode, before Channel 4 made him take down the threatening Instagram post.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: “The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards violence and we take any behaviour of this nature very seriously. We took prompt action as soon as this incident occurred, and Luke was subsequently removed from the experiment. This will all be addressed in Monday’s episode.”

It’s all kicking off tonight!
