All the juicy details we know about the explosive two-part MAFS UK 2023 reunion

It’s on NEXT WEEK

It’s almost that time: The MAFS UK 2023 reunion is upon us, so we’re about to find out which couples have survived the experiment and are still together, and who has since gone their separate ways.

Right now, it’s looking like no couples are going to be left come the reunion, as each episode seems to come with the death of another marriage. So, it’s probably best that the two-part special drops next week, or we’re starting to run the risk of no couples having made it.

So, here’s a rundown of everything we know about the MAFS UK 2023 reunion.

The MAFS UK 2023 reunion is next week, and will be split into two parts

The MAFS UK 2023 reunion takes place next week, and is split into two parts. There is a first reunion dinner party next Wednesday, and then a final commitment ceremony on Thursday.

“It’s the final reunion and the group look back at their time in the experiment,” the description for Thursday’s 9pm-10:25pm episode reads.

One thing is for sure: It’s going to be explosive

During the final commitment ceremony and dinner party, the cast will update us on where they’re at – so yes, that means we’re going to find out who has stood the test of time, and who hasn’t.

It promises to be an explosive episode, with new revelations, big dramas and old feuds being brought up once again and flames reignited. Expect every awkward and big moment from the series to be talked about, and a lot of chaos to follow.

Plus, according to expert Paul C Brunson, one of the show’s biggest twists is yet to come. He said: “If people were blown away by Ella and JJ, there is much more to come. This time with Tasha and Paul. What happens next is very unexpected. I know what happens, but you guys will see it all unfold soon.

“I thought last season’s MAFS was the most explosive, but this one, well, it’s just incredible. It’s all fireworks. I’ll certainly need a lie-down afterwards. I’m so glad everyone is telling me how much they are enjoying it.”

It’s not clear if this revelation is at the reunion or before, but either way, strap in for something big!

There’s also a bonus episode later in the year

As well as the two episodes next week, there is also another bonus episode coming later this year. More filming has taken place this week, and another episode is set to be released before Christmas.

According to reports, the one-off special episode will give fans a chance to catch up on all the dramas and tensions that have unfolded off camera between the show’s brides and grooms while the series has been airing.

A show insider said: “This series of Married at First Sight started filming way back in February, and there was also a reunion filmed in July – so it was all in the can before any of this series had been aired. As the episodes have been screened, the cast have seen things unfold that they weren’t aware of at the time of filming, so a lot of dynamics have changed since the reunion episode was shot in the summer.

“The relationship status of some of the couples has also been up and down in the last few months, so Channel 4 bosses wanted to get the key faces from the series back together to give fans the most up-to-date gossip. It’s bound to be very explosive. A lot of the cast have been quite fiery and opinionated about each other on social media since the show has been on, so expect all of that to spill out on camera.”

The source added: “It’s a chance to reopen old wounds, settle new scores and find out everything that’s happened since the cameras stopped rolling.”

Which cast members will be at the MAFS reunion? Is Luke banned?

Earlier this week it was revealed Luke had been “axed” from the MAFS UK 2023 reunion bonus episode. This has caused loads of people to think Luke won’t be present on the show next week. However, Luke was actually banned from filming which took place this week, which was for the bonus episode later in the year.

A source told MailOnline: “Luke’s relationship with Channel 4 has deteriorated since his axing was aired. Not only did he come to blows with Jordan but he’s also used threatening language towards him on social media, which of course the channel deems unacceptable.

“Luke has spoken out about his experiences filming the show and no doubt will do so again… the trust between him and Channel 4 has been lost. He doesn’t feel great knowing that the majority of the cast are filming the special and his invite was well and truly retracted but they feel that right now his attitude is too difficult to manage.”

It’s believed all cast members will be present next week, but we will have to wait and see! Despite leaving the show early on, Shona has confirmed she is back for the reunion.

I’m so ready!
