Divorce, marriage and dating shows: What the Love Is Blind season two cast are up to now

It’s been a couple of years now since Love Is Blind season two was filmed and dropped on Netflix – and since then, the cast have been keeping busy.

Spoiler alert: Not a single one of the marriages from this season was successful, with both couples who said yes at the Love Is Blind altar getting divorced. But, lots more has been going on in their lives, too. From new marriages, to podcasts and dating shows – this bunch have been all over the place.

Here’s a catchup with the cast of Love Is Blind season two, to see what they’re all up to now.

Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson

A year after tying the knot, Danielle and Nick filed for divorce. The whole thing turned a bit messy, with Danielle calling Nick out for “talking shit” about her and then them going back and forth making statements about one another. “It really did come down to just personality compatibility differences,” Danielle said of their divorce. She added they “were very amicable and civil at first” but admitted “the divorce process added even more stress and it’s tough on both of us.”

Danielle hangs out with her other cast members a lot, recently sharing pictures of her with Deepti, Iyanna, Mallory and Natalie. She also does a lot of brand deals on Instagram, and recently released some music! Danielle’s Instagram bio says she is currently working in PR and events.

According to Nick’s Instagram, he’s a mental health and wellness advocate, and a news and politics critic. He also hosts a podcast called Conversations with Nick Thompson, and has written a wellness book.

Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones

Iyanna and Jarrette’s marriage also ended in divorce, just over a year after they married. In a post about going their separate ways, the couple expressed they had learned a lot, and didn’t regret a thing.

They are both now pursuing similar careers: Iyanna co-hosts a podcast called Feel In The Blank, and Jarrette co-hosts a podcast called The Gentleman’s Lounge. Iyanna and Jarrette have both also been doing a number of brand partnerships and interviews since the show.

Deepti Vempati

Deepti Vempati

She’s got a lot going on in here career right now, launching a podcast called Out Of The Pods with Natalie, being a speaker for TED talks in Chicago, and Deepti is now an author. Her book, I Chose Myself, is all about her personal life story. A percentage of book proceeds are donated to charities supporting mental health and survivors of domestic abuse.

Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee

Shake has definitely been keeping busy since the show. He launched a podcast, and started dating someone new. Shake and Emily went official just two months after the show, but it’s been rumoured they’ve recently broken up.

Shake has taken a break from his job as a vet, and now his Instagram shows he’s full in on being a DJ. He’s DJing in Miami, and has listed himself as a Miami food influencer.

Shayne Jansen

After not getting married on the show, Shayne went on a podcast and said he and Natalie tried to make their relationship work “four times” but he got “fed up” in an argument, and they decided to end things. Shayne said he was “working on himself” after the show.

Most recently, Shayne was in the cast of Netflix series Perfect Match, which caused further drama with Natalie, as it was claimed the filming clashed with when they had dated after the show. He didn’t find anyone on Perfect Match, and it looks as though he’s single right now, working in real estate and living in Chicago.

Natalie Lee

After Love Is Blind, Natalie said there were other reasons she and Shayne broke things off. In a statement she said she found “flirtatious messages between him and other women” and that was something she couldn’t get over. She also disputed his claim they tried to make the relationship work four times, saying they actually only tried twice after the show.

She’s also had beef with Shake, and it’s been reported she served him with a cease and desist notice in August last year, over him making false allegations about her in interviews.

As well as the podcast she co-hosts with Deepti, Natalie is now working as an influencer, doing multiple sponsored posts on Instagram. She works as a management consultant and content creator, and has been travelling a lot, too!

Salvador ‘Sal’ Perez

During After the Altar, it was revealed Sal was dating someone new, and he is still with her now. It just looks like the two of them are absolutely living it up together, including a recent holiday to Mexico. It’s what Sal deserves!

Mallory Zapata

Mallory is still living in Chicago, and is a youth advocate. She is now working with a non-profit, specialising in making career coaching more accessible for women. She hangs out with her fellow Love Is Blind season two cast members, and just looks like she has a pretty wholesome life now. It appears Mallory is currently single.

Shaina Hurley

After having a connection with Shayne, and a failed engagement with Kyle, the biggest change in Shaina’s life is that she’s now married to someone else and they’re expecting a baby!

Shaina shared she was with new man, Christos Lardakis, in March of 2022 and in the same month, it was revealed they had been dating since the show ended and were engaged. They got married officially on July 2nd of that year, in a courthouse in Chicago, but had a wedding ceremony in Greece later that month.

Her Instagram now is basically just showing off her boujie married life, including pics of her and Christos hanging out at Soho House Chicago and The Ritz in Miami.

Kyle Abrams

Kyle obviously didn’t marry Shaina, and broke up with Deepti, but he’s now moved on and is with someone new. He’s just got engaged to Tania Leanos, who is the VC of a finance company.

They spend a lot of time making content for Kyle’s new production company, Holy Cow productions. He has a YouTube channel now too, where he vlogs videos with his fiancée.
