Emma Grede, Dragons' Den, net worth

So, who is new Dragons’ Den guest investor Emma Grede and how did she make her money?

She’s richer than pretty much all the other Dragons

It’s a bit of a given that the investors on Dragons’ Den have to have a huge net worth, as they give away huge sums of money every week on the show – and new guest investor Emma Grede can definitely match them all in that sense.

This week sees Emma step into one of the famous chairs in the Den, and potentially invest in some of the pitchers who come up the lift. So, you might be wondering who exactly Emma Grede is, how she’s big in the business world, and let’s be real, you want a nose at her huge net worth. I’ve got you. Here’s everything we know.

Who is new Dragons’ Den guest investor, Emma Grede?

41-year-old Emma Grede is a British businesswoman, entrepreneur and fashion designer. She is the CEO and co-founder of the denim company Good American, a founding partner of Skims, and co-founder of Safely.

Emma was born in east London, and went to London College of Fashion but dropped out after securing an internship at Gucci. Fair enough! She then joined Inca Productions, which is best known for producing shows at London Fashion Week.

Early in her career, in 2008, Emma founded fashion and entertainment marketing agency ITB Worldwide, and became the first Black woman to appear as an investor on the series Shark Tank – the US version of Dragons’ Den.

Emma co-founded Good American, a size-inclusive fashion brand, with Khloe Kardashian in 2016. She is also a founding partner and chief product officer of Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims. Emma Grede’s husband, Jens Grede, is CEO of Skims, and the couple share four children together.

The other brand Emma is co-founder of, Safely, is a plant-based cleaning brand with Kris Jenner. Basically, she’s behind a whole bunch of successful Jenner and Kardashian brands.

Emma has previously put her success down to when she was young, and she used to save up money from her paper round to buy fashion magazines.

On top of all this, Emma is also chairwoman of the Fifteen Percent Pledge, which is an initiative that encourages retailers to shift 15 per cent of their shelf space to Black owned brands.

What is Emma Grede’s net worth?

Of course, Emma is a multimillionaire. According to Forbes, Emma Grede has an incredible net worth of $320million (£282million). So yeah, she’s richer than all-but-one of her other Dragons, which is a bit of a flex.

She mainly lives in the US – spending most of her time in her £19million Bel Air mansion. She also bought Brad Pitt’s Malibu holiday home for £27million in 2022. Just the usual stuff, you know.
